What This Skill Does
An executive scheduling assistant that handles the full meeting coordination loop: checking calendar availability, drafting scheduling emails, finding venues, creating calendar events with travel and buffer blocks, and tracking every meeting from intake to completion.
All outbound actions require explicit human approval before execution, so emails and calendar changes never go out unreviewed.
When to use it
- Booking a coffee meeting with a new client contact
- Rescheduling a confirmed lunch after a conflict appears
- Finding restaurant options near a specific neighborhood
- Sending a day-before confirmation for an in-person meeting
- Managing a back-and-forth scheduling email thread
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Schedule a virtual meeting with Alex Rivera next Tuesday afternoon
- 1Checks calendar availability for Tuesday afternoon using check-availability.py
- 2Builds an approval packet with two or three time options and timezone labels
- 3Creates tentative calendar holds for each approved option
- 4Drafts and presents a scheduling email for human review
- 5Sends the email after approval and records thread identifiers in the tracking file
Tentative holds on the calendar and a scheduling email sent to Alex Rivera, with the meeting tracked in memory/scheduling/in-progress.md
