What This Skill Does
Manages Google Calendar events from the command line using gcalcli. Supports listing events by date range, creating events with a title and duration, and deleting events by name. Also works with CalDAV-compatible calendar services as an alternative to the Google Calendar API.
Lets you read and write calendar events from scripts and terminal workflows without a browser or GUI app.
When to use it
- Scheduling a team meeting without leaving the terminal
- Checking tomorrow's agenda from a shell script
- Deleting old placeholder events by name
- Adding calendar events from an automation or cron job
- Reviewing the week's schedule during a morning routine
