What This Skill Does

Monitors Google AI Studio (Gemini API) quota usage by scraping the usage dashboard via browser automation. Tracks RPM, TPM, and RPD metrics across models and tiers, and sends alerts when consumption exceeds 80% of limits.

Automates quota checks through browser automation so you don't need to manually log into the dashboard or configure Cloud Monitoring separately.

When to use it

  • Checking Gemini API quota before kicking off a large batch job
  • Getting alerted when free-tier daily request limits are nearly exhausted
  • Scheduling nightly usage reports to a team channel
  • Identifying which models are consuming the most tokens
  • Catching runaway API calls before they trigger 429 errors

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: Check my Google AI Studio usage and alert me if any metric is above 80%

AGENT
  1. 1Opens the Google AI Studio usage dashboard URL with the configured project ID
  2. 2Waits for the rate limits table to finish loading asynchronously
  3. 3Parses each model row to extract used and limit values for RPM, TPM, and RPD
  4. 4Calculates usage percentages and compares against the 80% alert threshold
  5. 5Sends a formatted report or alert to the configured Discord channel
OUTPUT

Discord message with a per-model usage table showing current consumption, limits, and a status indicator (normal / warning / alert)
