Version History
Version 3.0.0 of content-quality-auditor - Expanded trigger phrases and description to cover E-E-A-T, helpful content, and GEO/AI citation readiness. - Added compatibility notes and allowed-tools section, including WebFetch support. - Introduced explicit support for Vercel Labs, ClawHub, and MCP network ecosystem. - Added new reference file: references/item-reference.md for complete item mapping. - Updated tags and metadata to reflect E-E-A-T, helpful content, and AI quality assessment. - Minor improvements for audit instructions and output example clarity.
What This Skill Does
Runs an 80-item content audit across 8 dimensions: Contextual Clarity, Organization, Referenceability, and Exclusivity (CORE, for GEO/AI citation readiness) plus Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trust (EEAT, for SEO credibility). Each item is scored Pass, Partial, or Fail. The output includes dimension scores, a content-type-weighted total, veto item detection, and a prioritized fix plan.
It scores both GEO readiness (AI citation potential) and SEO credibility in one pass, so you don't need separate tools for each signal.
When to use it
- Checking a blog post against E-E-A-T criteria before publishing
- Scoring a product review page for AI citation potential
- Comparing your article quality against a competitor's page
- Finding which sections of a how-to guide are weakest
- Running periodic quality checks across existing content
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Run a content quality audit on https://example.com/product-review as a product review
- 1Fetches page content from the provided URL
- 2Detects content type as 'Product Review' and loads the corresponding dimension weights
- 3Checks three veto items (T04, C01, R10) first and flags any critical violations
- 4Scores all 80 CORE-EEAT items as Pass, Partial, or Fail across 8 dimensions
- 5Calculates GEO Score, SEO Score, and weighted total, then ranks the top 5 improvements by impact
