Version History
Version 3.0.0 of keyword-research introduces major enhancements for keyword analysis and integration: - Added support and documentation for advanced integrations (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, or manual input). - Expanded description and triggers to cover new use cases such as keyword difficulty score, search volume data, CPC estimates, long-tail keyword suggestions, and content calendar planning. - Includes compatibility info for multiple marketplaces and environments (Claude Code, skills.sh, ClawHub, Vercel Labs). - Added new reference files: example keyword report and prioritization framework. - Improved metadata and tags to reflect modern SEO workflows (topic clusters, pillar pages, CPC, search intent classification). - Retains all core research, classification, and opportunity scoring features from earlier versions.
What This Skill Does
Analyzes and prioritizes keywords for SEO and GEO content strategies. Classifies keywords by search intent (informational, navigational, commercial, transactional), scores difficulty and opportunity, and groups them into topic clusters with pillar and cluster page assignments. Works with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, or manual input.
It combines intent classification, difficulty scoring, GEO opportunity detection, and topic clustering in one structured workflow instead of requiring separate tools for each task.
When to use it
- Finding low-competition keywords before starting a blog series
- Building a content calendar around a new product launch
- Identifying question-format keywords likely to surface in AI search results
- Researching local search terms for a regional service business
- Spotting keyword gaps before entering a new market

- 3Expands each seed with modifiers, long-tail variants, and question formats
- 4Classifies each keyword by intent, scores difficulty on a 1-100 scale, and calculates opportunity scores using volume and intent weight
- 5Groups keywords into topic clusters with pillar and cluster page assignments and outputs a priority-ranked content calendar
A keyword research report with an executive summary, quick-win and growth opportunity lists, topic clusters mapped to content types, and a content calendar with priority scores
