Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Web interface that adds a /shopping page to the Second Brain portal. Supports viewing, adding, editing, checking off, and deleting items. The UI shares the same data files as the shopping-list CLI skill, so changes in either are immediately visible in the other.
Because the web UI and CLI skill read and write the same JSON file, there is no manual syncing needed between the two interfaces.
When to use it
- Browsing a categorized shopping list before heading to the store
- Adding groceries from a browser while planning meals for the week
- Checking off items on a phone during a shopping trip
- Editing item names or quantities without switching to the chat interface
- Reviewing items the assistant added during a previous conversation
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User navigates to /shopping in the Second Brain portal
- 1Reads active.json from the shopping-list skill data directory
- 2Renders items grouped by category with inline edit and check-off controls
- 3User adds a new item via the form; POST to /api/shopping writes it to active.json
- 4User checks off an item; PATCH to /api/shopping/[id] updates its state
- 5User deletes a stale entry; DELETE to /api/shopping/[id] removes it from the file
Updated shopping list reflected immediately in both the web UI and the conversational shopping-list skill
