Version History
**Big update with new features, improved automation, and developer documentation.** - Added comprehensive documentation, guides, API usage examples, and CLI references (including QUICKSTART.md, README.md, docs, reports, and UX feedback). - Introduced new options for time-line extraction, context filtering, automated detection, Telegram message chunking, cron integration, and multi-level recovery. - Enhanced error handling; now provides clearer user messages for missing, corrupted, or inaccessible context files. - Refined and extended recovery modes: minimal, normal, detailed—now feature structured output and flexible restoration. - Improved test coverage with new integration and robustness tests. - Removed outdated files and reorganized documentation structure for easier navigation.
What This Skill Does
Reads compressed context files from previous sessions and summarizes active projects, pending tasks, and recent operations. Supports three detail levels (minimal, normal, detailed) and natural language triggers like 'continue where we left off'. Can also run automatically via cron to detect context changes and restore state without user input.
Recovering state from a structured JSON file is faster than scrolling through chat history or re-explaining project context at the start of every new session.
When to use it
- Picking up work after opening a new chat session
- Checking which tasks were left incomplete from the day before
- Getting a weekly progress summary before a team standup
- Switching back to a project after working on something else
- Running automated context checks on a cron schedule
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: 'continue where we left off'
- 1Detects resume intent from natural language keywords
- 2Loads compressed_context/latest_compressed.json
- 3Parses metadata, recent operations, active projects, and pending tasks from the file
- 4Formats output at the requested detail level (minimal, normal, or detailed)
- 5Presents the recovery report and waits for user confirmation before proceeding
Structured report listing active projects with progress percentages, prioritized pending tasks, and recent operations from the previous session
