What This Skill Does
Routes messages from any connected messaging channel to an AI SaaS chatbot at saas.salesbay.ai. Tracks conversation context per user using a channel-plus-identifier session key. Supports commands to reset conversations or check chatbot status.
A single chatbot ID works across all connected channels, so there is no need to build or maintain separate integrations per platform.
When to use it
- Deploying a customer support chatbot on WhatsApp and Telegram from one backend
- Routing Slack team messages to a company-hosted AI assistant
- Keeping separate conversation history for each user across multiple channels
- Resetting a stuck or confused conversation without leaving the chat app
- Checking chatbot availability directly from within a messaging channel
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks on WhatsApp: What are your business hours?
- 1Identifies the channel as 'whatsapp' and the user identifier as '+15551234567'
- 2Constructs sender_id: 'whatsapp:+15551234567'
- 3POSTs the message to the chatbot API with the sender_id and message text
- 4Parses data.responses from the API JSON response
- 5Returns each response text as a separate message in order
The chatbot reply is delivered in the user's WhatsApp chat, e.g. 'Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm EST.'
