What This Skill Does
A pipeline for turning raw observations into tested beliefs. Captures thoughts in an inbox, organizes them as wisdom claims with per-domain source credibility ratings, and graduates high-confidence claims into personal principles. Modeled on Ray Dalio's methodology.
Unlike flat note-taking, it actively checks new input against existing beliefs and halts when it finds a conflict, forcing you to resolve contradictions rather than accumulate them.
When to use it
- Capturing a half-formed thought from a podcast before you forget it
- Filing a book quote under the right domain with a source credibility rating
- Checking whether a new belief contradicts something you already hold
- Promoting a well-evidenced claim to a named personal principle
- Reviewing all open questions you haven't resolved yet
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: /inbox 'Alex Hormozi says you should raise prices before you improve the product'
- 1Appends the raw thought to inbox.md
- 2On /reflect, parses the thought as external wisdom in the business/pricing domain
- 3Rates the source as proven in business, assigns Medium confidence
- 4Checks wisdom/collected.md for conflicting claims in the same domain
- 5Files the claim with source entry and prompts user to record personal experience
New wisdom claim added to wisdom/collected.md under business/pricing with source credibility noted
