What This Skill Does
TubeLab provides REST API access to YouTube analytics data, including channel search, outlier video discovery, transcripts, comments, and automated niche scans. It adds AI-enhanced fields like revenue estimates, faceless content classification, and engagement ratio scoring across 30+ filters. Most endpoints cost credits; rate limit is 10 requests per minute.
Provides revenue estimates, AI quality classification, and outlier z-scores not available through the standard YouTube Data API.
When to use it
- Finding profitable YouTube niches with high average views and low subscriber counts
- Identifying viral outlier videos in a specific topic area by z-score and view ratio
- Pulling full transcripts from competitor videos to analyze content structure
- Discovering channels with similar content to a known competitor
- Running automated scans to surface trending channels and videos in any niche
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

- 1Compute the ISO date for one month ago to use as publishedAtFrom
- 2Call GET /search/outliers with query='personal finance investing tips', type=video, classificationIsFaceless=true, classificationQuality=positive, and the publishedAtFrom date
- 3Parse hits to extract video IDs, titles, view counts, z-scores, and channel names
- 4Call GET /video/transcript/{id} on the top 3 results to retrieve full text
