What This Skill Does
Controls aria2 download manager through natural language commands via JSON-RPC 2.0. Supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, Magnet, Torrent, and Metalink downloads. Agents can start, pause, resume, and monitor downloads without constructing raw RPC payloads.
aria2's JSON-RPC interface requires verbose manual request construction; this skill wraps it so agents handle download operations through simple commands.
When to use it
- Queuing multiple file downloads to a remote server
- Monitoring active torrent download progress
- Pausing all downloads before a bandwidth-heavy task
- Adding magnet links to an aria2 instance via natural language
- Checking download statistics and clearing completed results
