What This Skill Does
Pine Voice lets an agent make real phone calls on the user's behalf. It navigates IVR systems, waits on hold, conducts negotiations, and returns a full transcript when the call ends. The agent cannot ask a human for missing info mid-call, so all context must be gathered upfront.
It handles the entire call autonomously, including hold time and IVR navigation, so the user never has to wait on the line.
When to use it
- Negotiating a lower cable or internet bill
- Making restaurant reservations by phone
- Scheduling doctor or service appointments
- Inquiring about business hours or service availability
- Following up on unresolved customer service issues
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Call Comcast and get my internet bill reduced to $50/mo. Account number is 12345, account holder Jane Doe.
- 1Checks authentication status and prompts for Pine AI login if not already authenticated
- 2Collects account details, negotiation targets, and any verification info the callee may require
- 3Initiates the call with objective, context, and strategy via call.mjs in a background session
- 4Polls call status every 30 seconds until is_terminal is true
- 5Reads the transcript and reports the negotiation outcome and credits charged
Full call transcript showing the negotiated result, call duration, and credits used
