Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Runs Codex CLI, Claude Code, OpenCode, or Pi Coding Agent as background processes for programmatic control. Workdir isolation keeps agents focused on relevant files. Supports parallel execution across multiple sessions and git worktrees for batch work.
Background process mode lets you run multiple coding agents in parallel and monitor them non-interactively, instead of being blocked in a single interactive session.
When to use it
- Reviewing multiple open PRs in parallel without checking out branches
- Building a feature in the background while staying in your current terminal
- Running batch issue fixes across isolated git worktrees simultaneously
- Delegating a refactor to a coding agent and checking back when it finishes
- Posting automated code review comments to GitHub PRs from agent output
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Review all open PRs on a repo and post comments to each
- 1Fetch all PR refs with git fetch using the pull refs pattern
- 2Start a Codex background process per PR, each scoped to the project workdir
- 3Poll each session with process action:log to track progress
- 4Collect the review output from each completed session
- 5Post each review to its PR with gh pr comment
Review comments posted to every open PR on GitHub
