What This Skill Does
Extracts a writer's authentic voice from samples and builds a structured Voice DNA Profile covering sentence architecture, transition phrases, confidence zones, and energy patterns. Uses that profile to generate content that matches how the person actually communicates, with platform-specific adaptations for LinkedIn, X, email, and long-form writing.
Unlike a one-line tone instruction, it builds a reusable Voice DNA Profile that captures transition fingerprints, authority vs. learning zones, and platform-specific adaptations so the voice stays consistent across every piece of content.
When to use it
- Writing LinkedIn posts that sound like you instead of generic AI
- Ghostwriting a client's newsletter in their exact voice
- Briefing a VA to send emails in your style
- Generating content at scale without losing your personal brand
- Fixing AI drafts that keep failing your 'sounds like me' check
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Write a LinkedIn post about my new consulting offer — here are 5 past posts I've written
- 1Reads all 5 samples and extracts 8 Voice DNA dimensions including sentence architecture, transitions, and confidence zones
- 2Builds a complete Voice DNA Profile with the user's actual transition phrases and vocabulary fingerprint
- 3Identifies the consulting topic as an authority zone and sets confidence calibration accordingly
- 4Drafts the LinkedIn post using the user's hook style, signature transitions, and energy level
- 5Runs the 5-question Voice Check and applies the user's editing instincts before delivering the final post
A LinkedIn post written in the user's verified voice, with a reusable Voice DNA Profile they can reference for all future content
