What This Skill Does
Provides access to Unsplash's photo library via their REST API. Supports searching by keyword, color, and orientation, fetching random photos, browsing collections, and retrieving full photo metadata with dynamic image URLs and blur hash placeholders.
Images are served directly from Unsplash's CDN and support dynamic resizing via URL parameters, so you never need to download and reprocess full-resolution files.
When to use it
- Finding a hero image for a blog post by keyword
- Pulling a random nature photo for a daily wallpaper script
- Searching black-and-white portrait photos for a design mockup
- Browsing a curated Unsplash collection for editorial content
- Getting photographer attribution details before publishing
