Setup & Installation
Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
A controlled runner for scaffolding and managing Expo/React Native apps on a local OpenClaw server. Wraps a single allowlisted script to create apps, add screens, launch web previews, and check process status. All operations are confined to a designated directory with loopback-only network binding.
The allowlisted command model lets an agent scaffold and preview Expo apps without exposing arbitrary shell execution on the server.
When to use it
- Scaffolding a new Expo project on a local server
- Adding a screen file to an existing React Native app
- Starting a web preview of a mobile app on a chosen port
- Checking whether an app preview process is currently running
- Managing multiple Expo projects under one controlled environment
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Create a new app called 'todoapp', add a 'Profile' screen, and start the web preview
- 1Runs 'new todoapp' to scaffold the Expo project under /home/patron/apps/todoapp
- 2Runs 'add-screen todoapp Profile "Profile"' to write /home/patron/apps/todoapp/app/Profile.tsx
- 3Runs 'preview todoapp' to start expo start --web on port 19006
- 4Runs 'status todoapp' to confirm the preview is RUNNING and return the URL
Preview running at http://127.0.0.1:19006 with the new Profile screen included
