What This Skill Does
A bash script that pipes meeting transcript text through the Claude API and returns a structured markdown summary. Extracts key decisions, action items, owners, and deadlines from raw transcript input.
Skips manual note-review by extracting structured outputs directly from raw transcript text in one command.
When to use it
- Summarizing a 1-hour standup recording into bullet points
- Pulling action items from a sales call transcript
- Getting deadlines out of a project kickoff meeting
- Processing clipboard-pasted Zoom transcripts
- Turning messy notes into a shareable meeting summary
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: summarize this transcript — 'Alice: we decided to launch Friday. Bob: I'll handle QA by Thursday. Carol: let's sync again Monday.'
- 1Receives transcript text via stdin pipe
- 2Sends text to Claude API with extraction prompt
- 3Parses response for decisions, action items, owners, and dates
- 4Formats output into four markdown sections
Markdown document with Summary, Key Decisions (launch Friday), Action Items (Bob: QA by Thursday), and Follow-up Dates (sync Monday)
