What This Skill Does
Fetches Islamic prayer times for any city worldwide using the Aladhan API with ISNA calculation method. Auto-detects location via IP or accepts a city name with fuzzy matching for typos. Returns Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha times in 12-hour format.
Combines IP-based auto-detection, global geocoding, and typo-tolerant city search in one step, so you don't need to look up coordinates or navigate a separate prayer times app.
When to use it
- Checking today's prayer schedule while traveling abroad
- Looking up Fajr time in a new city before a flight
- Verifying Maghrib time during Ramadan in a different timezone
- Getting prayer times for a parent's city in another country
- Planning a work meeting around Dhuhr and Asr windows
