What This Skill Does
Analyzes long-form video, audio, or podcasts and produces a structured clip plan with timestamps, hook lines, captions, hashtags, and thumbnail direction. Outputs are drafts only — no publishing or account access involved.
Skips manual scrubbing by working from transcripts to pinpoint high-retention moments with ready-to-use copy, rather than leaving the user to plan cuts and write captions separately.
When to use it
- Cutting a 2-hour podcast into 10 TikTok-ready clip plans
- Finding the best 60-second moments from a live stream
- Drafting Reels captions and hashtags from a YouTube video transcript
- Preparing a short-form content brief for a video editor
- Identifying hook moments in a product demo for LinkedIn clips
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: turn this 90-minute podcast episode into 8 Instagram Reels clips, casual tone, tech audience
- 1Reads the provided transcript and identifies high-engagement moments
- 2Selects 8 clips with start and end timestamps based on hook strength and self-contained narrative
- 3Writes a hook line and caption draft for each clip
- 4Suggests hashtags and a title variant per clip
- 5Produces thumbnail cover-frame direction and optional cut list for an editor
