Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Parses receipts, email exports, and billing PDFs to identify recurring charges, detect price changes, and estimate renewal dates. Produces a structured subscription table and draft cancellation emails without initiating any actual transactions.
Keeps all actions read-only and produces drafts only, so there is no risk of accidentally canceling or triggering payments during an audit.
When to use it
- Auditing monthly spending after a free trial period ends
- Finding forgotten subscriptions before an annual renewal hits
- Spotting duplicate charges for the same service across different cards
- Preparing a cancellation list before switching banks
- Reviewing billing history to catch unexpected price increases
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: 'Here are 6 months of Gmail receipt exports as a ZIP. Find everything I'm paying for and flag anything that went up in price.'
- 1Parse and normalize vendor names across all receipts
- 2Cluster charges by vendor and detect recurring billing cycles
- 3Estimate next renewal dates based on detected cycle frequency
- 4Flag vendors where the charged amount changed between periods
- 5Generate a subscription table and draft cancellation email templates for any flagged vendors
A subscription table listing 14 active subscriptions with vendor, amount, cycle, and next renewal date, plus 3 anomaly entries where prices increased, and pre-written cancellation email drafts for each
