Version History

v1.1.0Feb 28, 2026 - Version note by skill developer:

Add system proxy management (enable/disable), query status, switch node

What This Skill Does

Controls Sparkle VPN programmatically using the Mihomo core. Supports starting and stopping the VPN, toggling system-wide proxy settings, querying status, and switching between nodes, all without touching the GUI.

Scripting VPN control through Mihomo directly lets you automate node switching and proxy toggling without depending on the Sparkle GUI being open.

When to use it

  • Switch to a Japan node before accessing region-locked content
  • Start VPN without system proxy for app-specific routing
  • Check which node is active and available before a call
  • Stop VPN and disable system proxy in one command
  • Source proxy env vars into a terminal session for CLI tools

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: switch to the Singapore node and enable system proxy

AGENT
  1. 1Call sparkle_vpn_status to confirm VPN is running
  2. 2Call sparkle_vpn_switch with node name '新加坡-SIN-01-VL'
  3. 3Call sparkle_vpn_enable_proxy to apply system-wide proxy settings
  4. 4Verify the active node changed via sparkle_vpn_status
OUTPUT

System proxy enabled and routed through the Singapore node
