What This Skill Does
A CLI tool for storing and retrieving conversation histories keyed by channel, user, or thread ID. Contexts are saved as JSON files on disk. You call it manually from scripts or workflows.
Gives you a simple, zero-dependency key-value store for conversation context without needing a database or external service.
When to use it
- Persisting chat history across bot restarts
- Tracking per-user conversation state in custom scripts
- Storing Q&A pairs keyed by Discord channel ID
- Replaying past context when resuming a conversation
- Building a lightweight context store for multi-platform bots
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: store a message exchange for channel 'telegram-123' and user 'user-456', then retrieve it
- 1Run store command with --channel, --user, --message, and --response flags
- 2Script writes the exchange to a JSON file keyed by channel and user
- 3Run retrieve command with the same --channel and --user values
- 4Script reads the JSON file and returns the stored history
{"channel_id": "telegram-123", "user_id": "user-456", "history": [{"message": "Hello", "response": "Hi there"}]}
