What This Skill Does

Happenstance is a professional network search and research tool. It lets you search across your connections and groups using natural language queries, and pull detailed profiles on specific people including employment history, education, projects, and writings.

Searches your actual professional network rather than a generic public index, so results include mutual connections and group context that LinkedIn search doesn't surface.

When to use it

  • Finding engineers in your network with specific AI infrastructure experience
  • Researching a potential hire's full professional background before an interview
  • Discovering mutual connections before a cold outreach
  • Searching a specific group for people with a particular skill set
  • Pulling a detailed profile on a founder before a meeting
