What This Skill Does

Fetches Islamic prayer times (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) for any city or coordinates via the AlAdhan API. Automatically selects the correct calculation method for 20+ countries. Can also run background cron jobs that send three-stage reminders around each prayer time.

Automatically maps countries to their official calculation methods, so users don't need to know method IDs or configure settings manually.

When to use it

  • Check today's prayer schedule for a trip to Istanbul
  • Set up automated reminders before each Salat
  • Look up prayer times for a specific date in Cairo
  • Get next prayer countdown while traveling across time zones
  • Configure region-specific calculation methods for Morocco or Saudi Arabia
