What This Skill Does
Analyzes market structure for any trading instrument using Smart Money Concepts (SMC) and ICT methodology. Identifies trend direction, swing highs/lows, Break of Structure, Change of Character, order blocks, Fair Value Gaps, and liquidity zones. Outputs a structured directional narrative with entry triggers and invalidation levels.
Applies a consistent 5-layer framework that prevents cherry-picking patterns by forcing macro-to-micro analysis in a fixed order.
When to use it
- Analyzing a forex chart before a London session trade
- Identifying whether BTC is in accumulation or markdown phase
- Finding order blocks and FVGs on a 4H gold chart
- Determining if a CHoCH signals a real reversal or just noise
- Building a top-down bias from weekly to 15-minute timeframe
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: analyze EUR/USD 4H chart, price at 1.0850, recent swing high at 1.0920, swing low at 1.0780
- 1Determines macro bias from HH/HL or LH/LL pattern on the 4H
- 2Identifies last BOS and CHoCH levels and labels structure points
- 3Locates relevant order blocks, FVGs, and liquidity pools (BSL/SSL)
- 4Calculates premium/discount range and positions current price within it
- 5Synthesizes findings into a directional narrative with trigger, invalidation, and target
4H bias is bullish (HH+HL intact). Price is in discount after pullback. Bullish OB at 1.0820-1.0835. Waiting for 15M CHoCH to confirm end of pullback. Target BSL at 1.0920. Invalidation below 1.0780.
