Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Audits OpenClaw cron jobs and produces a human-readable report flagging duplicates, noisy notifications, over-frequent schedules, repeated failures, and missing env prerequisites. Report-only by default — no changes are applied without explicit user approval.
The report-only default with explicit approval gates prevents accidental schedule changes that silent automation tools might apply without warning.
When to use it
- Spotting duplicate cron jobs consuming redundant resources
- Reducing notification spam from overlapping announce jobs
- Identifying flaky jobs failing due to missing vault files
- Slowing down high-frequency jobs driving up compute costs
- Reviewing a cron config before a production cost review
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: audit my current cron jobs and flag anything wasteful
- 1Call cron(list) to retrieve current job list as JSON
- 2Run analyze_cron_jobs.py against the JSON output
- 3Parse results for duplicates, spam, cadence issues, and failures
- 4Compile findings into a 10-25 line structured report
- 5Present recommended patches and wait for explicit user approval before applying any
