Version History
Alibaba Cloud Model Setup 0.1.4 — major update with Coding Plan support and improved model/site options. - Fixed provider name typo: now consistently "bailian" (was "balian"). - Added support for both Pay-As-You-Go and Coding Plan subscriptions, with 5 site endpoints instead of 3. - Expanded and clarified available model list: flagship Qwen series, new Qwen3 models, and Coding Plan–exclusive third-party models. - Updated workflow: choose plan type, select site, improved API key validation and model selection steps. - Example config output and validation steps refreshed for new provider name, models, and plan logic.
What This Skill Does
Configures Alibaba Cloud Bailian as an OpenClaw model provider via an interactive script. Supports Pay-As-You-Go and Coding Plan subscriptions across five regional endpoints. Handles API key validation, config backup, and model selection for Qwen and third-party model series.
The guided script validates the API key against the selected regional endpoint before writing config, preventing silent misconfigurations that manual editing would not catch.
When to use it
- Switching OpenClaw to use Qwen models instead of other providers
- Setting up Alibaba Cloud Bailian for a China-region deployment
- Adding Coding Plan exclusive models like Kimi or GLM to OpenClaw
- Repairing a broken Bailian provider config without manual JSON editing
- Configuring the qwen3-coder series as the default model for coding agents

- 3Enter DASHSCOPE_API_KEY and choose env-var storage mode
- 4Select qwen3.5-plus as primary model and confirm set as default
