Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
Version History
- Updated documentation to clarify that 'tick sync --push' should only be used with explicit user approval. - Revised 'Command Reference' section: recommend 'tick sync --pull' by default, with pushing commands commented out. - No functional or code changes; documentation consistency and safety emphasis improved.
What This Skill Does
Manages tasks across human and AI agents using a structured Markdown file called TICK.md. Tasks, assignments, priorities, and history are stored locally in Git without requiring cloud services. Both a CLI and MCP tools are supported for creating, claiming, and tracking work.
Keeps task coordination local and Git-tracked without requiring a cloud project management tool or external shared service.
When to use it
- Breaking a feature request into subtasks with dependency ordering
- Checking which agents are actively working on open tasks
- Adding progress notes to a task mid-refactor
- Reopening a prematurely completed task and re-blocking dependents
- Running a batch of task updates in a single Git commit
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: 'Can you refactor the authentication system?'
- 1Creates a task with `tick add` at high priority, tagged backend and security
- 2Registers itself as an agent with `tick agent register` if not already done
- 3Claims the task with `tick claim` to mark it in progress
- 4Adds progress comments with `tick comment` as work proceeds
- 5Marks the task complete with `tick done`
TASK-XXX created, claimed, and completed with full history recorded in TICK.md
