Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Detects frustration or stress signals in user messages and responds with a brief empathy statement and a breathing exercise. Optionally creates calendar reminders for regular breathing breaks during the week. After the intervention, returns to solving the original task.
Addressing frustration before continuing prevents compounding stress and helps users re-engage with better focus than if the agent ignored the emotional signals entirely.
When to use it
- Resetting focus after being stuck on a bug for hours
- Taking a breath before tackling a stressful deadline-driven task
- Getting unblocked when a system repeatedly fails to behave as expected
- Acknowledging overwhelm before working through a long task list
- Pausing before diving into a complex API integration
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: can you work on this API setup
- 1Detects task-related frustration trigger in the message
- 2Responds with a brief empathy statement under 20 words
- 3Presents a Box Breathing exercise with step-by-step 4-4-4-4 timing
- 4Runs setup-calm-reminders.js to schedule 2-3 calendar events for the week
- 5Returns to the original API setup task
Empathy statement, breathing exercise prompt, confirmation of calendar reminders created, then continued work on the API task
