What This Skill Does
Gives an agent the ability to run a self-hosted blog platform: writing and publishing posts via REST API, uploading media, switching themes, and deploying to Cloudflare or Vercel. Supports PostgreSQL, SQLite, MongoDB, Turso, and Supabase as the backing database, with optional Redis or in-memory caching.
Covers the full blog lifecycle from writing to deployment through a single REST API, so no manual CMS interaction is needed.
When to use it
- Publishing a weekly AI-written article to a personal blog
- Switching the blog's visual theme before a product launch
- Uploading a cover image and attaching it to a draft post
- Deploying the blog to Cloudflare after a content update
- Querying post analytics to find the most-read articles
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Write and publish a post about the future of AI agents
- 1Runs setup script to initialize the platform and database if not already configured
- 2Uploads any relevant cover image via POST /api/media and saves the returned URL
- 3Sends POST /api/posts with title, slug, markdown content, excerpt, tags, and status set to published
- 4Optionally updates blog settings via PUT /api/settings to reflect current branding
- 5Runs the deploy script to push the updated blog to Vercel or Cloudflare
Post is live at the configured domain with correct attribution, cover image, and tags
