What This Skill Does

Wraps the official Box CLI for file, folder, metadata, search, and Box AI operations in headless or CI environments. Uses Client Credentials Grant or JWT for authentication, not OAuth browser flows. Credentials are user-supplied and never managed by the skill.

CCG authentication works without a browser or expiring tokens, making it reliable in Railway, CI, and other non-interactive environments.

When to use it

  • Uploading generated reports to a Box folder from a CI pipeline
  • Searching Box for files matching a keyword and downloading results
  • Extracting structured data from contracts using Box AI
  • Adding metadata tags to files uploaded by automated workflows
  • Browsing and auditing folder contents on a headless server

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT
