What This Skill Does

Reads, lists, mints, and appends fragments to Soul Block identity NFTs on Base mainnet. Read operations use public RPC calls and require no wallet. Write operations go through the evm-wallet skill when available, with fallback to soulblocks.ai deep links.

Handles the full Soul Block lifecycle in one skill, with automatic local backups before every SOUL.md change and a built-in fallback to website deep links when a wallet is unavailable.

When to use it

  • Loading another user's Soul Block to read their on-chain identity
  • Minting a new Soul Block NFT for 0.02 ETH on Base
  • Appending a permanent identity fragment to your active Soul Block
  • Listing all Soul Blocks owned by a connected wallet
  • Embodying a Soul Block identity in an agent session with daily reinforcement

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: Append a fragment about my core values to my Soul Block

AGENT
  1. 1Checks active_token_id in the .soulblock config file
  2. 2Verifies the connected wallet owns that token via a contract call on Base
  3. 3Re-fetches all current fragments from chain to avoid drafting stale content
  4. 4Drafts the new fragment and displays the exact text that will be inscribed
  5. 5Warns that the write is permanent and irreversible, then waits for explicit confirmation before encoding and submitting on-chain
OUTPUT

Fragment permanently inscribed on Base blockchain; the Soul Block now has one additional fragment in its on-chain history

Requirements

Accounts, API keys, or tools you or your AI assistant may need to set up while using this skill.
