Setup & Installation
Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Shares code snippets and files via snipit.sh with AES-256 encryption at rest. Supports password protection, burn-after-read, and auto-expiration from 1 hour to 2 weeks. Works via the snipit CLI or curl as a fallback.
Encryption at rest plus burn-after-read means sensitive content like secrets or configs never persists longer than needed, unlike pastebin services with no access controls.
When to use it
- Share a .env file securely with a teammate using a password
- Send a git diff for review that auto-expires after 1 day
- Upload build logs that delete themselves after an hour
- Share a config snippet that burns after the recipient reads it
- Pipe crash logs to a temporary link during an incident
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: share my .env file securely with a colleague, burn after reading
- 1Runs `snipit create .env -p secret123 -b` to upload the file with password protection and burn-after-read enabled
- 2Receives the snippet URL from snipit.sh
- 3Copies the URL and communicates the password separately to the colleague
A one-time URL pointing to the encrypted .env snippet that is deleted after first access
