What This Skill Does

Indexy is a cryptocurrency index management platform for AI agents. Agents can create, update, and analyze crypto indices similar to ETFs, using custom or market-cap weighting across 8 blockchain networks. The platform provides KPI analytics (Bitcoin Strength, Volatility, ATH proximity, Mindshare) and public index browsing without authentication.

Agents can autonomously create, rebalance, and analyze crypto portfolios via API without requiring separate portfolio management tooling.

When to use it

  • Create a themed crypto index with custom token weights
  • Rebalance an existing index after market shifts
  • Compare volatility across multiple DeFi indices over a month
  • Find coins with the highest mindshare in the past week
  • Browse top-performing or trending public indices

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: Create a DeFi blue chip index with Uniswap 40%, Aave 35%, Curve 25%

AGENT
  1. 1Resolve contract addresses for Uniswap, Aave, and Curve on Ethereum
  2. 2Verify that the specified weights sum to 100%
  3. 3Call POST /beta/indexes/agent with name, weightsType set to custom, and the selectedAssets array
  4. 4Receive 201 response containing the new indexId and creation timestamp
  5. 5Return the indexId and BPS baseline of 100.0 to the user
OUTPUT

New index created with ID 823, BPS starting at 100.0, asset composition locked to the specified weights
