What This Skill Does

Generates Unicode charts and plots in the terminal from CSV, JSON, or piped data. Supports bar, line, scatter, histogram, and sparkline chart types. Works with YouPlot, termgraph, and gnuplot.

Lets you explore and present data without leaving the terminal or opening a spreadsheet application.

When to use it

  • Plotting monthly sales figures from a CSV file
  • Monitoring live CPU usage as a line chart
  • Charting API response times from curl output
  • Visualizing JSON API data without writing a script
  • Displaying year-over-year metrics as horizontal bars
