Version History

v1.0.4Feb 16, 2026 - Version note by skill developer:

- Added a sample environment file: examples/env.example.txt - Users now have a template for required environment variables to aid in setup and configuration

What This Skill Does

TypeScript client for the OpenServ Platform API. Handles agent registration, workflow and trigger creation, credential management, and on-chain identity. Used alongside @openserv-labs/sdk — both packages are required to build and deploy any agent.

The idempotent provision() call collapses account creation, agent registration, trigger setup, and credential binding into a single startup routine instead of multiple manual API calls.

When to use it

  • Registering a locally running agent on the OpenServ platform
  • Setting up a paid x402 webhook so callers pay per agent request
  • Scheduling an agent workflow to run on a recurring cron job
  • Discovering and programmatically calling other agents' x402 services
  • Minting an ERC-8004 on-chain identity NFT for agent discoverability

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: Deploy my research agent to OpenServ with a paid x402 trigger

AGENT
  1. 1Import provision, triggers, and run from @openserv-labs/client
  2. 2Instantiate the agent with a system prompt using @openserv-labs/sdk
  3. 3Call provision() with the agent instance, name, description, and an x402 trigger config including price and input schema
  4. 4Extract paywallUrl from the ProvisionResult
  5. 5Call run(agent) to start accepting tasks
OUTPUT

Agent is live on OpenServ with a public paywall URL; callers pay USDC per request before the task runs
