Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Routes search queries to the most appropriate source, Tavily, Web Search Plus, Browser, or local workspace files, then aggregates and ranks results with source attribution. Query input is sanitized against injection before execution.
Eliminates manual source-switching by routing each query to the best available backend and merging ranked results in a single call.
When to use it
- Finding recent news across web and local notes in one query
- Searching workspace files alongside live web results
- Pulling ranked sources for a research summary
- Querying AI-optimized web results via Tavily
- Locating a local file by name without leaving the agent workflow
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: 'What are the latest findings on climate change?'
- 1Receives query string and optional source/max_results parameters
- 2Validates and sanitizes the query against injection patterns
- 3Dispatches search to Tavily and local file index in parallel
- 4Scores and ranks results from all sources by relevance
- 5Returns unified JSON array with source, title, URL, score, and content fields
Ranked JSON array of up to N results from Tavily and local files, each labeled with its source and relevance score
