What This Skill Does

Classifies the current crypto market macro regime as Risk-On, Neutral, Risk-Off, or Extreme Fear by aggregating Fear & Greed Index values, BTC dominance, Reddit sentiment, and macro news. Returns a regime label with confidence, asset-specific bias adjustments, and recommended portfolio allocation percentages.

Aggregates five distinct data sources into a single actionable regime label, replacing the need to manually check Fear & Greed, dominance charts, and news feeds separately.

When to use it

  • Checking market regime before entering a BTC position
  • Getting a daily macro briefing before trading session
  • Reducing position size automatically during Risk-Off detection
  • Identifying contrarian long setups during Extreme Fear periods
  • Aligning portfolio allocation with current macro conditions

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: What is the current crypto macro regime and should I go long BTC?

AGENT
  1. 1Fetches Fear & Greed Index value from alternative.me API
  2. 2Checks BTC dominance data for risk appetite signal
  3. 3Reads recent Reddit r/CryptoCurrency and r/Bitcoin sentiment
  4. 4Scans CoinDesk headlines for macro shocks or regulatory news
  5. 5Computes regime classification and confidence score
OUTPUT

Regime C — Risk Off (F&G=22, confidence 78%). Short bias applied, reduce position size. BTC long not recommended; wait for F&G recovery above 25 or RSI confirmation after capitulation.
