What This Skill Does
A structured playbook for building a Business Model Canvas tailored to solopreneurs. Covers all nine standard BMC blocks plus a tenth block, Time & Energy, that accounts for the solopreneur's personal bandwidth as a core constraint. Includes cross-block consistency checks and unit economics validation.
The Time & Energy block catches the most common solopreneur failure mode before launch, something the standard BMC template ignores entirely.
When to use it
- Mapping out revenue streams before launching a side project
- Finding the pricing break-even point for a new subscription product
- Checking whether a freelance business can scale without burning out
- Identifying a single-platform dependency that could sink the business
- Redesigning a business model after a key assumption turns out to be wrong

- 4Defines revenue streams with price points, payment triggers, and expected ARPU
- 5Runs the cross-block consistency check table and calculates CAC, LTV, and payback period
