Version History
Version 0.1.1 — Streamlined documentation and removed quick-start guides. - Updated SKILL.md to provide a clearer, more concise overview of the Voku language skill, use cases, and learning path. - Replaced previous sectioned “quick start” approach with a progressive learning path and explicit file recommendations. - Added “Critical Rules” section and clarified required grammatical features and usage scenarios. - Removed three quick-start files: cheat-sheet.md, essential-vocabulary.md, and first-sentences.md. - Emphasized mandatory evidentiality and zero-tolerance for ambiguity/exceptions.
What This Skill Does
Voku is a constructed language designed for AI-to-AI communication where every sentence has exactly one valid interpretation. Evidentiality and certainty are grammatically required on every declarative verb, not optional. A CLI translator tool handles conversion between Voku and English.
Unlike natural languages or informal agent prompts, Voku eliminates ambiguity by making evidence source and certainty level mandatory grammar, not stylistic choices.
When to use it
- Translating English sentences into Voku for agent-to-agent messaging
- Looking up vocabulary in the 363-root Voku dictionary
- Checking whether a Voku sentence is grammatically well-formed
- Learning Voku grammar through structured A1-A2 lessons and assessments
- Designing AI communication protocols that require explicit epistemic marking
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Translate 'I probably think the system is good' into Voku
- 1Load cheat-sheet.md to get sentence structure and verb morphology rules
- 2Identify mode (ka=declarative), subject (sol=I), and evidence prefix (li-=deduced)
- 3Apply certainty suffix (-en=probable) to verb
- 4Assemble: Ka sol li-pene-en ke teru vali
- 5Verify no rule violations: consonants, syllable structure, mandatory evidentiality
Ka sol li-pene-en ke teru vali.
