Or with the ClawHub CLI, for registry-managed skill folders outside a full OpenClaw workspace:
What This Skill Does
Takes a YouTube URL and runs a multi-step content pipeline: transcript extraction, AI-written blog post, Substack draft publishing, X/Twitter thread posting, and HeyGen AI avatar vertical video clip generation. Each step can run independently or the full pipeline can execute in sequence. Configuration stores author voice, avatar identity, and per-platform credentials.
Eliminates the manual work of adapting one video into five platform-specific formats by running the entire pipeline from a single URL.
When to use it
- Repurposing a podcast episode into a Substack newsletter
- Turning a conference talk recording into a tweet thread
- Generating vertical video clips from a long YouTube tutorial
- Building a full content distribution package from a single interview video
- Drafting a blog post from a YouTube explainer without manual transcription
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Turn this into a full content suite: https://youtu.be/XXXXX
- 1Extract transcript from the YouTube URL using the summarize CLI
- 2Analyze transcript for thesis, data points, and narrative moments, then write a 1500-3000 word blog post in the configured author voice
- 3Publish the blog post as a draft to the configured Substack publication via browser automation
- 4Compose and post an X/Twitter thread linking to the Substack draft using the bird CLI
- 5Extract 3-5 hook moments from the blog, rewrite them as spoken scripts, submit to HeyGen API for avatar video generation, then download and post-process clips with ffmpeg
Dated output folder containing blog.md, tweet.txt, substack-url.txt, per-clip spoken scripts, and processed vertical MP4 video files, plus a manifest.json summarizing the run
