Fix: Declare FIGMA_TOKEN as required environment variable using proper metadata.openclaw.requires.env structure - resolves registry metadata inconsistency
What This Skill Does
Connects an agent to the Figma REST API to read file structures, export layers and components as images, and retrieve comments. Requires a Figma Personal Access Token set as an environment variable.
Lets agents fetch Figma data and export assets programmatically without manual downloads or browser access.
When to use it
- Exporting design assets before a frontend sprint
- Checking design comments without opening Figma
- Pulling layer IDs to automate asset pipelines
- Reading page and frame structure from a shared file
- Generating SVG/PNG exports at multiple resolutions
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

- 1Reads the file structure using the file key to locate component node IDs
- 2Identifies the relevant icon layer IDs
- 3Calls the export endpoint with format=png and scale=2
- 4Returns the image URLs or downloads the files
