Version 1.0.6 of skill-hunter
What This Skill Does
Searches ClawHub's catalog of 10,000+ skills using plain-English queries, semantic ranking, or browse filters like trending and newest. Before installing, it fetches a skill's SKILL.md remotely and evaluates its security profile. No credentials or environment variables required.
Combines discovery, comparison, and pre-install security review in one workflow instead of manually browsing the catalog and auditing skill files separately.
When to use it
- Searching for a skill by describing a task in plain English
- Browsing the most-downloaded or newest skills on ClawHub
- Reading a remote SKILL.md before committing to an install
- Checking whether a skill requires credentials or external packages
- Comparing ranked search results to pick between similar skills
