What This Skill Does

QR Coin runs auctions on Base where bidders compete to have their URL encoded in a QR code. Each ~24-hour auction accepts USDC bids; the highest bidder's URL wins and gets encoded. Creating a new bid costs ~11.11 USDC; contributing to an existing bid costs ~1.00 USDC.

Bankr handles ABI encoding, gas estimation, and transaction signing, so users interact with the auction contract without writing raw calldata.

When to use it

  • Bidding a personal site URL into the active QR code auction
  • Checking how much time remains in the current auction
  • Contributing additional USDC to boost an existing URL's bid
  • Verifying current reserve prices before committing funds
  • Monitoring whether you've been outbid and topping up

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: bid my URL https://example.com in the current QR Coin auction

AGENT
  1. 1Query currentTokenId() to get the active auction ID
  2. 2Check auctionEndTime() to confirm the auction is still open
  3. 3Prompt user to approve USDC spend for the auction contract if not already done
  4. 4Call createBid(tokenId, url, name) via Bankr with ~11.11 USDC
  5. 5Confirm transaction submission and return the auction token ID
OUTPUT

Transaction submitted on Base; URL registered as a bid in the active auction
