What This Skill Does
CRIF is a file-based framework for conducting cryptocurrency research through human-AI collaboration. It provides specialized agent personas, structured workflows, and isolated workspaces for research types ranging from tokenomics analysis to technology evaluation. By default, the AI checks in with the user at each phase rather than running autonomously.
The structured agent-and-workflow system produces consistently formatted, source-cited research outputs that ad-hoc prompting typically does not.
When to use it
- Analyzing a DeFi protocol's tokenomics before taking a position
- Mapping the competitive landscape of a crypto sector
- Evaluating the technical architecture and security of a blockchain project
- Running a QA review on an existing investment thesis
- Turning completed research into platform-specific content for X or a blog
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Run competitive-analysis for DeFi lending protocols
- 1Read framework/core-config.yaml to identify available workflows and preferences
- 2Activate research-analyst agent persona from framework/agents/research-analyst.yaml
- 3Load workflow files from framework/workflows/competitive-analysis/
- 4Present initial research plan and confirm scope with user
- 5Execute each research phase, checking in with findings before proceeding
