What This Skill Does

Connects Google Calendar and Gmail to an AI agent using OAuth2 credentials from your own Google Cloud project. Supports multiple Google accounts under user-defined labels. Covers listing and searching emails, downloading attachments, extracting text from PDF attachments, reading calendar events, and checking free/busy status.

Because credentials are tied to your own GCP project, OAuth tokens and API access never pass through a third-party service.

When to use it

  • Checking this week's meetings across personal and work calendars
  • Searching Gmail for unread emails from a specific sender
  • Downloading and reading PDF invoices or school letters from email attachments
  • Checking free/busy windows before proposing a meeting time
  • Listing recent emails and summarizing their subjects

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: Do I have any meetings tomorrow, and are there unread emails from my manager?

AGENT
  1. 1Run calendar.js --account work --action events --days 2 to fetch upcoming events
  2. 2Filter results to events occurring tomorrow
  3. 3Run gmail.js --account work --action list --query "from:manager@example.com is:unread" to fetch matching emails
  4. 4Read each matching email with --action read to get subject and snippet
OUTPUT

A summary of tomorrow's calendar events and a list of unread emails from the manager with subjects and previews
