What This Skill Does
Radon AI is an MCP server for React Native development that exposes Radon IDE's debugging capabilities to AI agents. It provides access to library documentation, app logs, network traffic, screenshots, and component trees from a running emulator. Works with React Native and Expo projects open in VS Code or Cursor.
Gives agents live access to the running app state — logs, screenshots, network requests, component trees — that no static analysis or training data can provide.
When to use it
- Debugging a crashed React Native app by reading runtime logs
- Inspecting failed API calls in network traffic during development
- Looking up current Expo library documentation without relying on stale training data
- Reviewing component hierarchy to fix a layout issue
- Reloading the emulator after applying a code change to verify the fix
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: why is my login screen showing a blank white view?
- 1Call view_screenshot to see the current state of the app
- 2Call view_application_logs to check for runtime errors or bundle failures
- 3Call view_component_tree to inspect what components are actually mounted
- 4Identify the missing or unmounted component causing the blank view
- 5Call reload_application with reloadJs after the fix is applied
Root cause identified from logs and component tree; fix verified via screenshot after reload
