What This Skill Does
Evaluates longevity interventions using a four-tier evidence framework (RCTs down to anecdotal). Covers supplements, sleep, exercise, and anti-aging protocols with non-obvious dosing and timing insights. Teaches research methodology so users can assess new interventions independently.
Rather than prescribing a fixed stack, it teaches the evaluation framework so users can critically assess any new intervention or study on their own.
When to use it
- Checking evidence quality of a supplement before purchasing
- Finding the effective dose range for cognitive or joint benefits
- Identifying dangerous supplement pairings before stacking
- Evaluating a research paper for red flags like surrogate endpoints or industry funding
- Building a fasting or exercise protocol that accounts for muscle loss risk
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Is 5g of creatine enough for cognitive benefits?
- 1Identifies the question as a dosing assumption challenge
- 2Retrieves the blood-brain barrier threshold distinction from the framework
- 3Explains that muscle saturation and brain phosphocreatine elevation require different doses
- 4Cites Tier B evidence supporting 15-20g for cognitive outcomes vs null results at 5g
- 5Recommends splitting 15g into three doses to avoid GI distress
Tier B rating with practical dosing guidance: 3x5g daily for cognitive targets, standard 5g for muscle only
