What This Skill Does

Verifies whether a repository, skill, or wallet address is flagged as malicious before the agent takes action. Queries the ScamShield Sentinel API and aborts the current operation if a threat is detected. Designed for Web3 and AI agent workflows where unvetted code or addresses pose security risks.

Automates threat lookups that would otherwise require manual search across multiple security databases before each Web3 or agent action.

When to use it

  • Screening a skill before installing it in an agent environment
  • Checking a wallet address before initiating a crypto transaction
  • Verifying a repository is safe before cloning it
  • Blocking smart contract interactions with flagged addresses
  • Pre-flight check on third-party transaction hashes

Example Workflow

Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.

INPUT

User asks: Is it safe to interact with this smart contract at 0xDEADBEEF...?

AGENT
  1. 1Extract the contract address from the user's request
  2. 2Send a GET request to the ScamShield API with the address as the target parameter
  3. 3Include SCAMSHIELD_API_KEY in the Authorization header
  4. 4Parse the API response for the status field
  5. 5Abort and warn the user if status is malicious, or proceed if safe
OUTPUT

Contract address verified as safe - proceeding with interaction
