What This Skill Does
Collects temperature, humidity, PM2.5, and CO2 readings hourly from an ALPSTUGA air sensor connected to an IKEA Dirigera hub, storing data in a local SQLite database. Supports querying by date or range, calculating averages, generating line charts, and sending reports via email or WhatsApp.
Combines hourly data collection, historical querying, charting, and multi-channel report delivery in one skill instead of requiring separate tools for each function.
When to use it
- Checking monthly average CO2 levels in the living room
- Sending a weekly air quality chart via email
- Reviewing PM2.5 readings after a particularly dusty day
- Setting up hourly automated air data collection via cron
- Getting a WhatsApp report of today's temperature and humidity
Example Workflow
Here's how your AI assistant might use this skill in practice.
User asks: Send me last week's air quality report via WhatsApp
- 1Queries SQLite database for all readings in the past week
- 2Calculates averages for temperature, humidity, PM2.5, and CO2
- 3Assesses PM2.5 and CO2 levels against defined Good/Moderate/Poor thresholds
- 4Generates a week-view line chart PNG
- 5Sends the report and chart via WhatsApp using wacli
WhatsApp message with air quality summary, per-metric averages, quality assessments, and an attached chart image
